Melissa Haney, LCSW, SEP, CCST
I am a graduate of The Steve Hicks School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin, where I received both my bachelor and master degrees. After working for the Veterans Administration in San Antonio and Kerrville, I returned to Austin and opened my private therapy practice in 2009. In the past decade, I have trained extensively in the field of developmental trauma and work with adolescents and adults in trauma recovery. In January 2015 I attended a three day workshop facilitated by Bonnie Badenoch where I was introduced to sand tray. For more information about me and this work, please visit my website at:
Casey Davids, M.Ed., LPC, NBCC, CCST
For the past 10 years I have been a School Counselor (elementary, middle and high school, and have had college academic advising experience). I hold a Masters in Education: School Counseling, am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas (soon Colorado), am Nationally Board Certified and most recently obtained my Clinical Certification in Sandtray Therapy. I have a strong passion for working with children, adolescents (often I use sandtray therapy, art, play or music in our therapy sessions for children (ages 9 and up) and adolescents) , and adults.
